Orange Lazarus is not your typical sketch comedy troupe! One thing that sets Orange Lazarus apart from others is the members of the group first met while serving together on the same squadron as US Navy SEALS. After long missions under cover of night in classified third world countries, Rene, Ed, Brandon, and Tim would share a laugh or two about some of the clandestine activities they were duty-bound to perform. It wasn't long before their hilarious descriptions of killing, goring, and assassinating began to entertain their fellow soldiers, and they became quite popular in the SEALS cafeteria. The guys began to take their comedy more seriously, and even began collecting costumes and props from some of the terrorists cells they raided during their day job!
Upon successful completion of their last tour of duty, Rene, Ed, Brandon, and Tim faced the typical soldiers dilemma: how to convert the adrenaline of battle into a socially acceptable way of living, and they found their answer in comedy, of course! The guys now perform all over Southern California, and can be booked for gigs and events of all kinds.
